CSA Score
Compliance, Safety, Accountability score — the FMCSA's system for ranking motor carriers on seven safety categories called BASICs (Behavior Analysis and Safety Improvement Categories): Unsafe Driving, Hours-of-Service Compliance, Driver Fitness, Controlled Substances/Alcohol, Vehicle Maintenance, Hazardous Materials Compliance, and Crash Indicator. High CSA scores indicate a pattern of safety violations and are publicly available through the FMCSA Safety Measurement System.
